Brandon Sun 2006 年毕业于帕森斯设计学院,并荣获了该校当年的“年 度设计师”称号和金顶针奖。大学三年级时,他获得了 CFDA 国家奖学金 和 YMA 国家奖学金,并在 Jeffrey Chow 和 Calvin Klein 公司实习。毕业后, 他先后在两家久负盛名的美国奢侈品牌 J.Mendel 和 Oscar de la Renta 从事设计工作,逐步积累了经验与声望。
在 J.Mendel 工作的五年间,Brandon 从设计助理成长为设计师。与 Gilles Mendel 的耳濡目染,让 Brandon 在高订、成衣、皮草等诸多领域 磨练了技能。2009 年,Brandon 加入 Oscar de la Renta,成为了该品 牌皮草部门的设计总监。Brandon 成功地将自己现代先锋的风格融入到 了 Oscar de la Renta 这一美国最经典的品牌世界。



2010 和 2011,Brandon 为 blackglama“谁是最传奇?”广告大片设计 服装,以 Janet Jackson 为模特的形象广为人知。紧接着,Brandon 又 为 Janet 的“Up Close and Personal”巡演设计了几款演出服。同年, Brandon 还为美国传奇以 Kathy Ireland 为模特的广告大片提供了帮助。
2011 年 2 月,Brandon 注意到创意与实用性兼具的皮草饰品有市场 空间,于是适时地推出了自己的奢华皮草披肩系列,在诸如 Bergdorf Goodman,Boon the Sho 和 Saks Fifth Avenue 这些知名百货店销 售。2012 年,Brandon 在纽约梅塞德斯奔驰时装周上完成了首秀,为 Neiman Marcus 独家推出了皮草时装系列。

Brandon Sun began his fashion career after graduating from Parsons School
of Design in 2006 where he was honored with the “Designer of the Year” title and awarded the Golden Thimble. During his junior year, he was presented with the CFDA’s National Scholarship, the YMA’s National Scholarship, and held internships with Jeffrey Chow and Calvin Klein. After school, Brandon went on to design for two of the most uniquely distinguished American luxury brands: J.Mendel and then Oscar de la Renta.
Within five years at J.Mendel, Brandon rose from Design Assistant to Designer. Working closely with Gilles Mendel, Brandon honed his technique in couture, tailoring, ready-to-wear and fur. In 2009, Brandon joined Oscar de la Renta
as Design Director for the fur division. At ODLR, Brandon infused his modern edge while immersing himself in the world of one of America’s most celebrated brands.



Through 2010 and 2011, Brandon collaborated with Blackglama on the renowned “What Makes A Legend Most?” ad campaign featuring Janet Jackson. Additionally, Brandon designed some of Janet’s “Up Close and Personal’ tour costumes. In 2011 Brandon helped re-launch the American Legend campaign featuring Kathy Ireland.
In February 2011, Brandon noticed a void in the market for innovative but commercially viable fur accessories and launched a collection of luxurious scarves with stores such as Bergdorf Goodman, Boon the Shop, and Saks Fifth Avenue. In 2012, Brandon Sun introduced his insouciant vision with his first presentation at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. This secured an exclusive launch with Neiman Marcus for fur outerwear.
For the Spring 2013 presentation, Brandon launched his ready-to-wear collection as an evolution from his fur vision. The Swarovski Collective selected Brandon Sun to be one of five designers to support enabling his first runway show for Fall 2014. Brandon Sun’s collection of RTW, furs and luxury accessories have sold in some of the most illustrious doors internationally including Bergdorf Goodman, Boon the Shop, 10 Corso Como, Hirshleifer’s, Neiman Marcus and OnPedder.
